"Working Title" a documentary on Muslim Youth in America
Working Title tells the story of five Muslim children and teenagers, through their own voices and experiences. Working Title focuses on children between the ages of nine and 17 from the New York Tri-State area. The backdrop of these children’s lives is the changing Islamic-Western relationship in a post 9/11 world.
Working Title will explore their challenges and issues at home, in the school and anywhere in-between, will explore social, cultural and religious involvement, allowing the children to share a "slice of life" withthe American public, challenging and explicating stereotypes of a race and religion.
